The volume of plays isn’t always easy to predict, but the Cowboys have very consistently found themselves with healthy totals. Since they have very little run game to speak of , we should expect them to throw at a rate more than expectation. Our projections for plays tonight are high for Dallas and if we’re right… this mark of 22.5 is a little too low.

Can’t say that I’m sure all these receptions will be explosive, but they really have been force feeding him the rock. In a game where I expect NYG to have to look to the air, they’ll feed their best offensive weapon by design early and by necessity late.

Huge divisional rival game on the line for both teams where QBs tend to rush more than normal. Jones is averaging 45.3 rushYds in his last three meetings vs. DAL including 40+ in two of the three. And just like others have done in the past, I expect coach Daboll to weaponize Daniel Jones using his legs against a clear weakness in the run defense where Lamar rushed for 87 yards and Watson rushed for 39 yards earlier. The Cowboys boast a formidable pass rush, spearheaded by Micah Parsons and Dexter Lawrence, which ranks first in QB Hurry% and Pressure% according to Pro Football Reference. If the offensive line doesn't hold up, Jones should have more opportunities to scramble and even some RPO plays to neutralize the pass rush. Furthermore, when he runs with the ball, he'll be facing a weak and undersized rush defense that opposing teams are countering with "big" personnel, resulting in last place ranks in stuff rate and yards after contact permitted (3.04), and 31st place in yards per carry before contact (2.90), according to Fantasy Points. And finally, we’re also quietly getting a discounted line.
