Last week I nailed the Cardinals post-James Conner RB rotation with Emari’s under 14.5 rush yards. He handled the 3rd down/2 minute work, Trey Benson dominated early downs, and Michael Carter was the main backup on early downs. The only concern was Emari sneaking a bullshit 3rd-and-long draw for a chunk gain.. and there were a couple plays where I thought it might happen. That’s the exact angle I like this week with Trey Benson now out for 4-6 weeks. I expect Michael Carter to take over as the lead early down back with Demercado maintaining the passing down role (while mixing in more than usual on early downs). Demercado has averaged 6.0 yards per carry in his career, mostly because his touches come when defenses aren’t expecting the run. His 8-yard gain last week came in the 2-minute drill, another spot where defenses are rarely keyed on the run. If he mixes in even a little more on early downs, he’ll get extra chances against a Titans defense ranked 31st in run DVOA. I project his median longest run closer to 11.5 yards, with about a 60% to clear 9.5. I’m actually showing slight value on his under 22.5 rush yards too (based on his boom/bust type role) making longest rush the best way to invest in him.

THE BLITZ is forecasting 1.58 receptions for Michael Carter compared to 2.56 receptions implied by sportsbooks, so I believe there is some value here. If you take the under, you’d be projected to win 76% of the time, resulting in a 34% ROI. Based on a $100 wager, the expected value here would be $45.41. Love THE BLITZ? Have this total around 45 due to the this game being indoors and both defenses being underwhelming.

I’m sorry, this line is absurd. I can’t stop betting the Titans but I am so out on the Cardinals. Keep it within 10 Cam.
