Arizona Cardinals Odds, Schedule, Bet Types, and Team Stats
The Arizona Cardinals narrowly missed the NFL playoffs in 2020, finishing 8-8 with the final Wild Card spot going to the Chicago Bears on a tiebreaker. The Cardinals went 5-10-1 in 2019 and looked to be headed towards a postseason berth following a 6-3 start — capped by the miraculous ‘Hail Murray.’ Losses in five of its final seven games derailed Arizona’s playoff hopes, but the Cardinals have the pieces in play to take another step forward in 2021.
QB Kyler Murray enters his third NFL season, has steadily improved over the first two years. As a second-year pro, he threw for 3,971 yards and 26 touchdowns while rushing for another 819 yards and 11 scores on the ground. Murray has one of the league’s most reliable wideouts in DeAndre Hopkins, a four-time All-Pro who racked up 115 for 1,407 yards during his first season with the Cardinals. Add in tailback Chase Edmonds with newcomers James Conner and A.J. Green, and this offense could pick up where it left off in the first half of last season.
Let’s not forget the addition of former NFL Defensive Player of the Year J.J. Watt, who joined Arizona after ten years with the Houston Texans. Watt brings a veteran presence to the Cardinals and could create one of the top pass-rushing tandems in the league alongside Chandler Jones. Jones’ 2020 season was cut short after five games due to injury. Before 2020, he led all defensive players in sacks since entering the NFL in 2012. The Cardinals open the 2021 NFL season at the Tennessee Titans. You can view the Action Network’s top odds for the next game above, in addition to an NFL odds comparison for all upcoming NFL games.
Arizona Cardinals & BetMGM
The Arizona Cardinals are partnered with BetMGM to create a sports gambling experience inside State Farm Stadium. BetMGM is planning to launch four retail sportsbooks, and the sportsbook at the Cardinals' home in Glendale is expected to be completed before the 2022 season. Until then, Arizona residents and Cardinals fans in-state can sign up for online betting.

How to Bet on the Arizona Cardinals
Arizona Cardinals Point Spreads
Betting the Cardinals' spread or point spread is a wager based on the expectation that the Cardinals will win or lose by a certain number of points. In 2020, Arizona had a +2.7 point margin of victory as the Cardinals went 7-9 against the spread. Here’s an example:
- Cardinals -2.5 (-110)
- Seahawks +2.5 (-110)
In this situation, the Cardinals are favored by 2.5 points against the Seattle Seahawks. If the Cardinals win the game by three or more points, a $100 wager on Arizona would come with a payout of $90.91. If the Seahawks won the game outright or lost by two points or less, the same $100 wager would win $90.91.
Arizona Cardinals Over/Unders aka Cardinals Totals
An over/under, also called point total, is a wager placed on the combined scoring of a single game. Bookmakers come up with a number and you can either bet the over or — you guessed it — the under. Here’s how it works:
Let's say the Cardinals play the Rams, and the over/under is set at 44 points. A wager on the over would require Arizona and Los Angeles to score 45 total points or more to win. Betting the under is an expectation that the two teams would score 43 or fewer points. It's also possible for the bet to push, which would happen if the game finished with exactly 44 points scored.
In 2020, Arizona averaged 29.5 points during its 6-3 start and just 20.6 points over its 2-5 finish. The under hit in 68.8% of Cardinals games last season — the third-highest rate in the NFL.
Arizona Cardinals Moneylines
A Cardinals moneyline is as straightforward as it gets when it comes to betting. The only thing to do here is to pick the winner, a side of the Cardinals line. Check out this example:
- Cardinals +160
- 49ers -180
The minus (-) and plus (+) signs distinguish the favorite from the underdog, making Arizona the favorite in this scenario. Odds can be understood more clearly if you think in terms of $10 or $100 increments. A wager on the Cardinals' odds would profit $16 for every $10 bet. And it's the opposite for favorites: Here, the 49ers moneyline was set at -180, meaning every $18 bet profits $10.
Moneylines are also commonly used when making parlays, which are multiple bets tied into one. Let’s say you bet the Cardinals moneyline and their -3 point spread, Arizona would need to win by four points for that bet to be successful. The risk may be greater, but so is the reward with increased odds. Use our Odds Calculator to calculate any bet amount or conversion. Welcome offers that you can earn with a BetMGM Bonus Code can help offset risk betting on the Cardinals, too.
Arizona Cardinals Props aka Cardinals Prop Bets
Player props are wagers on a single player, and they're tied to a single stat found in the box score for a game or even the whole season. These are among the most fun to bet on, especially if you're already playing fantasy football and like the player-specific focus, it offers. Check out an example below:
- Kyler Murray 2021 passing yards: 4,100.5
Have you been paying attention so far? Because our example is an over/under player prop. We’ll break it down a bit. Murray averaged 248.2 passing yards per game in 2020. That’s about 16 YPG more than his average as a rookie. Let’s say he only jumps up 10 yards per game in Year 3. Murray would hit that mark in 16 games. And remember, the NFL added an extra regular-season game in 2021.

Cardinals Futures aka Cardinals Futures Odds
Cardinals futures are somewhat similar to prop bets in that both are monitored throughout a season. Except most future bets are focused on the end of season success. Examples of futures are:
- Arizona Cardinals odds to win the NFC West
- Arizona Cardinals odds to win the NFC
- Arizona Cardinals odds to win the Super Bowl
- Kyler Murray’s odds to be named MVP
- DeAndre Hopkins’ odds to lead the NFL in receiving yards
If you're the world's biggest Cardinals fan and think they'll surprise in the loaded NFC West and make the playoffs, you can also bet on those things. Those types of bets are called futures, and they're just wagers on things that settle at the end of the year. For a comprehensive list of up-to-the-minute NFL futures, click or tap here.
Arizona will likely have its hands full in a loaded NFC West once again, and we're sure betting action will follow. In 2020, the Seahawks won the fifth time in 11 years while the Rams locked up a wild card spot. The 49ers finished fourth, but they’re not overlooked after reaching Super Bowl LIV just two seasons ago. The NFC West champion has reached the Super Bowl five times since 2012.
While the Cardinals finished in third, just a game or two of improvement this season could potentially propel them back into the playoffs for the first time since 2015. See weekly Arizona Cardinals odds above. Above you’ll find how to bet on the Cardinals as well as their complete 2021 schedule, betting trends, performance against the spread (ATS), injury history, team statistics, a full-depth chart, and more--all you need to bet the Cardinals this season.
