And one of those coming from a hail-mary from Aaron Rodgers at halftime to Allen Lazard for zero seconds left, According to Fantasy Points, their high rates of zone (9th) and two-safety coverage (4th), are taking away big plays, and forcing QBs to have a 8.0% deep-throw% considering of 20+ air yards (2nd lowest), 6.8 aDOT (lowest), and a 6.69 yards/attempt (7th-lowest). Rasul Douglas and Christian Benford, who both rank bottom-12 in fantasy points per route run + pass-rushers Greg Rousseau/Von Miller are responsible why. Past deep-threats who couldn’t do it include Xavier Worthy, Travis Kelce, Calvin Ridley, Tyreek Hill x2, Rashod Bateman, Marvin Harrison Jr to name a few. As for Brock Purdy tonight: He was listed as questionable all week dealing with shoulder soreness, and is set to make his return vs. the Bills on Sunday Night. This will be the first time he meets up vs. this team but the dynamics will be very different considering it’s set to be a “Snow Game” with weather likely playing a role this game. Left Tackle Trent Williams is set to miss his second game in a row which further hurts pass protection, and with CMC back healthy, I’m backing the Bills defense to shutdown a big play even knowing SF’s weapons YAC ability to keep this trend going strong. #PlayerProps
