McMillan has been a man amongst boys, making an early case for Heisman contention after setting a record in Week 1. The matchup for this passing game is really good against the Kansas State defense, as the Wildcats rank 128th in Defensive Passing Success Rate, which will present multiple opportunities at explosive plays for this high-powered offense. On the other side, Kansas State's ground game, led by QB Avery Johnson and RB DJ Giddens is for real. The Wildcats average 249 rushing yards per game, exploiting their dynamic duo as Giddens goes over 5 yards per carry. Arizona's defense has been exposed on the ground, allowing over 200 rushing yards in their opener against New Mexico. They rank 69th in Stuff Rate and 77th in Line Yards, further underlining how often they have failed to stop the run this season. Kansas State should go on to capitalize on those problems for some drives that consistently move the chains.
