The half point doesn’t make sense to me. Fins defense missing playmakers and Jags offense is better than last year, when they were leading division before Lawrence injury. Plus, @ChrisRaybon made it a best bet.

Taking a stab here. +1900 is wild price difference. He’s +1100 everywhere else.

⭐️ Week 1 POW •JAX was great against the run last season, allowing the 7th fewest Rush Yards to RBs, however they allowed the 7th most Passing Yards •JAX allowed 12/17 QBs to go over their passing yards lines last season (The misses were: Bryce Young, Ryan Tannehill, Lamar Jackson, Will Levis, Kenny Pickett) •JAX Defensive Ranks entering this season (per PFF) -> 7th WORST D-Line -> 4th WORST secondary -> 7th BEST linebacker unit This is not ideal going up against this high powered Dolphins offense •Tua only hit his line in 44% of Games last season but had a TOUGH schedule: ->7 of his 10 unders were against Top 10 Pass Defenses ->In 4 Games Played vs Bottom 9 Pass Defenses he went for: 466, 309, 216, 280 Pass Yards -Tua has played better at home -> 268+ Pass Yards in 8/L12 there. He’s also started off hot in both Week 1s since Mike McDaniel took over in MIA (466, 270 Pass Yards)

I am buying in big time on his evolved role within the offense as a receiver. Candidly I anticipate a role we have never seen before from a running back in this offense, with everything from his usage lined up as a WR on jet sweeps to designed WR screens to him running deep downfield routes like a traditional WR. It should be very exciting and this is a good matchup and line to speculate upon this. It’s closer to a line you might see from a traditional RB with a big pass game role, and he could still eclipse this mark even if I’m wrong about the evolution of his game.
