Tyreek Hill was detained by police after a traffic outside Hard Rock Stadium, according to multiple reports, just hours before the Dolphins are set to kickoff their season against the Jaguars. According to ESPN's Jeff Darlington, Hill received a citation for reckless driving and was then placed in handcuffs after getting into a verbal altercation with police.

Drew Rosenhaus, who is Hill's agent, confirmed that the star wide receiver was detained by police for a traffic violation and said that Hill would be ready to play, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. The Dolphins also aknowledged the incident via social media.
"This morning, WR Tyreek Hill was pulled over for a traffic incident about one block from the stadium and briefly detained by police," the team said on X. "He has since been released. Several teammates saw the incident and stopped to offer support. Tyreek and all other players involved have safely arrived to the stadium and will be available for today’s game."
The Dolphins are 3.5-point favorites at home against the Jags on Sunday and the most-bet team in terms of tickets, according to data from BetMGM. Hill is listed at -125 to score a touchdown and his anytime touchdown prop is the second-most bet TD prop at the sportsbook.
