Drink the juice. Inflated and likely won’t be available again, so I won’t skip. Robinson looked great against Boston, averaging 8.0 REB and 1.0 STL in just 20.7 minutes. But that dominance came with context: Al Horford’s age and lack of mobility needed to defend, Kristaps Porzingis being sick, early KAT foul trouble, and a stagnant Celtics offense that leaned heavy on isos and halfcourt sets. Against the Pacers, the environment shifts. It’s going to be really challenging to run lineups next to KAT with how much motion from all players will be present which will cut into his upside because Indiana’s fast, pass-heavy offense forces bigs into constant movement rotating, switching, recovering. That’s not ideal for Robinson, who thrives when parked near the rim cleaning up misses. If you want to look at how they do it? Check out Jarrett Allen last series: 6.5 REB per game in 4 matchups vs. Indiana. The Pacers' scheme—led by Haliburton and McConnell—pulls bigs away from the paint, and guys like Mathurin/Siakam attack those gaps when defenses rotate. Tough spot for traditional rim anchors which makes the under the right side. #PlayerProps

Hart has been awesome against Indiana with a consistently high floor. His engine and willingness to crash the boards have paid dividends for the Knicks. This season he has a double double in all 3 games against the Pacers and over the last 2 seasons including the Playoffs he is averaging 14.2 points and 11.2 rebounds per game with 8 double doubles in the 12 games where he’s been healthy. Given he’s had a bit of extra rest given the schedule, I’ll back Hart to be a motor for the Knicks against a Pacers team that likes to run.

Rolling back an oldie but a goodie

The Huddle got it first The Knicks begin their revenge tour against the Indiana Pacers who defeated them in 7 games last season in the Playoffs. The Knicks roster is actually healthy this time but the biggest swing is KAT is in town. Towns has destroyed the Pacers this season with 21, 30, and 40 point games. They struggle to match up with his ability to score from both the interior and the perimeter and have not had success inverting any of his matchups yet. If Indiana sells out to stop Brunson, this will only open things up more for the big man. I’ll back KAT in Game 1.
