The Pelicans face off against the Boston Celtics and one of these teams will secure their first win on the season. Boston may even have some tired legs here coming off of a tough loss on Sunday to the Detroit Pistons.
The player to target for the Pelicans here is Zion Williamson. Despite Boston not allowing a ton of points in the paint, Boston has seemingly zero rim resistance and they are allowing the most second chance points in the NBA so far. Zion should be able to cut to the rim with ease and attack the interior. Zion has scored 27 in both games this season and the force he brings to each game will pay dividends in this matchup.
Boston has not played a truly dominant interior scoring threat but just surrendered 24 points and 18 rebounds to Jalen Duren on Sunday. I expect Zion to put his stamp on this game.

White's Usage has been insane through 3 games and with this being a back-to-back, I think there's a nonzero chance that Jaylen Brown misses tonight's game after being on the reportnyesterdsy.
Regardless, this line is too low with or without Brown.
The efficiency needs to regulate. White is shooting just 32.1% from the field and 28.6% from 3. A far cry from the 44.2% and 38.4% he shot last season. This should come back to the averages.
Best Line: (-115 MGM/-130 DK) but playable at either 30.5 OR 20+ points as well

@HPBasketball was on this on Buckets and I've been eying a spot for Sensabaugh myself.
The Jazz play the Suns tonight and although the Suns have somewhat limited 3 point frequency, they are allowing opponents to shoot 39.7% from 3. Well above league average.
Sensabaugh is a sniper. He is taking 54% of his shots from 3 and has somehow improved on his 43% 3 point percentage last season to 46% from beyond the arc.
Utah has been playing an extremely deep rotation so
I'd expect about 22 minutes tonight.

The Nuggets face off against the Wolves on Monday night and one surprising player I’m looking at an under for is Nikola Jokic.
Jokic is one of the league’s best but this matchup has given him some issues on the glass. Since the start of the 23/24 season, Jokic is averaging just 9.6 rebounds against Rudy Gobert in 13 contests. He’s recorded more games in single digits (7) than exceeding his current 12.5 rebound line (2).
Minnesota is an excellent rebounding team as well. They have a plethora of bigs and ball hawks that take away those opportunities for their opponents. While Jokic’s rebounding rate is up a hair without MPJ, in one game without him against Minnesota last season he pulled down just 10 rebounds.
Any Jokic under is a sweat, but this one is worth it as I’m projecting him closer to 11.

Curry and the Warriors face off against the Memphis Grizzlies. Both teams have started the year 2-1 ahead of what should be a compelling matchup.
The player I’m targeting here is Steph Curry. Curry. Curry had had some difficulty with the Grizzlies until the end of last season where he went thermonuclear against them and nearly dropped a 50 point triple double. Although Memphis has done a fine job limiting 3 point attempts, they are allowing their opponents to shoot 41.8% from 3, the third worst mark in the NBA. Curry can take advantage.
As for the rebounds, the Warriors will be without Al Horford tonight which funnels a few more boards to Curry who has averaged 4.3 per game this season. Couple this with Memphis being a strong Pace up spot (3rd fastest) this should lead itself to a few more opportunities.

FINAL 9/26
This is pretty gross but she's really not getting many opportunities from 3. She made 1 last game but it was only on 1 shot. She has not taken more than 1 against Indiana this season and has taken 1 or fewer shots in 8 of 9 against Aliyah Boston over the last two seasons. Anything under a half is an instant sweat but this price is great.

Miller averaged over 20 ppg last season in part due to various injuries but this is clearly not out of reach for him, especially if they're going to get to 40 games I think this is a relatively risk free and correlated bump for the price on 40+ wins.
The best in market number for 40+ that l've seen as a straight is +1600 (MGM) so we are getting essentially double the price on a correlated outcome.

Since Taylor Jenkins was fired the team reset around Ja Morant and he averaged 28.4 ppg in the team's last 7 regular season games. Now they moved on from Desmond Bane and they're dealing with some injuries (to the oft injured) JJJ. Morant's Usage for a full season could be insane. This swung in large part because Jenkins torched the Pick and Roll opportunities for Morant and after the firing the team leaned HEAVILY on that.
If you want to use the 28+ as an upper rung of the ladder that's fine and play 25+ ppg (-120 DK/MGM) as more of a base I won't begrudge you. I have some other plans for lower rungs for Morant so I'm splitting it unconventionally with 25+ at half a unit and 28+ as a full unit.

I’ll bite. Bet right when they signed Turner before they waived Dame.
Think it’s worth a nibble down to 50/1 for a Giannis team. To me this is all a sign that the franchise is saying to Giannis we are doing anything we can to optimize your time here. Figure it out later but the number will never be this good as long as Giannis is in a Bucks jersey and is healthy.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander+250
2025-26 NBA MVP

SGA and the Thunder look to defend their title this season and he has a legitimate case to win a second consecutive MVP. Shai stacks up with Jokic in all of the advanced metrics and now Jokic is on the wrong side of 30 for the entire season while Shai is directly in his prime.
Shai’s rotation is also conducive to him seeing a consistent output throughout the season since he generally plays the entire 3Q and will sit in the 4Q if there’s a blowout. His floor is incredibly high on a nightly basis.
Jokic played the most minutes per game of his career last season and one of the primary reasons they brought in Cam Johnson is with the hope he can take some of the creation and facilitating off of Jokic as he can run a bench unit. Additionally, they brought in Valanciunas to mitigate the non-Jokic Center minutes. All of the word out of camp is to try and make Jokic’s life a little bit easier.
Shai is an elite player on both sides of the floor and has a clear path for best player on the best team. MVP generally is going to the chalk, and we rarely see any longshots leapfrog multiple top tier favorites for this. I’ll back SGA to make it two in a row, which is historically common to see. It is at the 3-peat that we see some voter fatigue.
