NYM bats have officially fallen off ranking 19th in BA the L15 days & 27th the L7 days. They will face R. Nelson who had a rough start to the season, but really pulled it together the L2 months with a 2.41 ERA in July & a 3.28 ERA in Aug. In that time he’s gone 5+ innings in every game & facing bats like BOS, PHI, KC, SD, LAD. No way these NYM bats get to him. ARI bats have been consistently good, but so has D. Peterson.. arguably the best pitcher in Aug. allowing only a 1.71 ERA & also seeing good bats (SD, BAL, COL at Coors). He’s been locking down similar line ups all month. Both of these bullpens are mid, but healthy. I think these starters go deep into this game & runs will be hard to come by.
