Tailing my guy Kyle Murray on this one as we work together and see it the same way on the Browns. Foreman will situationally get opportunities to spoil our fun, but we’re not overly bullish on the probability of significant usage on any given week. Our projections have this one showing a decent win rate, and when push comes to shove we’re going to trust the process.

The Raiders without their top weapons should be a test the Browns defense can overcome, and frankly I was on the Browns to begin with and don’t see the home field as a major factor. This is a team that got super kicked by the heart break kid Andy Dalton last week, and even a sub-standard Watson should have enough to push the Browns past a declawed Raiders team.

This is one is out there are high as 31.5 so be sure to shop around.
I share the skepticism of our prop model on Moore, who is the most expendable member of this weak passing attack at any given time.
The Raiders got ripped up by the Panthers last week, but sadly we have less confidence in Deshaun Watson at this moment than we do of Andy Dalton. The Browns rank 27th in Pass DVOA and having watched the games I believe it. Fading Moore and shorting the Browns for now.

Both teams involved in this matchup have shown significant struggles on offense so far, making the under an appealing option. Deshaun Watson is only completing 57.8% of his passes, throwing for just 551 yards, 3 touchdowns, and 2 interceptions over the course of the season. These are not inspiring numbers for the Browns' passing attack, especially considering that Watson hasn’t shown the consistency necessary to sustain long drives. Additionally, Cleveland’s offense is scoring just 16.7 points per game while averaging 152.3 passing yards and 95.7 rushing yards. These are mediocre statistics, compounded by Watson’s struggles to find a rhythm, which limits the Browns' ability to light up the scoreboard.
On the other side, the Raiders' offensive inefficiencies are even more pronounced. They are averaging just 19.3 points per game, but the concerning stat here is their dreadful rushing performance, as they rank dead last in the NFL with only 51 rushing yards per game. Without a balanced attack, their offense becomes one-dimensional and easier to defend, especially against a Browns defense that has been relatively solid. The Raiders’ passing attack averages 244.7 yards per game, but this hasn’t translated into high point totals. Their third-down conversion rate of just 32.4% and their 1-for-5 success rate on fourth downs further highlight their inability to sustain drives and put points on the board.
The Browns' defense, while not elite, has allowed 22.3 points per game, which should be sufficient to contain a Raiders offense that can’t run the ball effectively. Gardner Minshew’s involvement, with 3 touchdowns and 3 interceptions, adds to the uncertainty of the Raiders’ offensive production. He’s been inconsistent, and this plays right into the hands of a Cleveland defense that thrives on stopping ineffective offenses.
With both teams struggling to convert on third down and neither showing an ability to establish a consistent rushing attack, the pace of the game is likely to be slow and methodical, contributing to a lower point total.
