Their offense, led by KJ Jefferson, has looked strong, especially in the running game. Jefferson has been efficient, completing 65.5% of his passes for 333 yards, and he adds a dual-threat dimension that could cause trouble for TCU. RJ Harvey has been a beast on the ground, rushing for 268 yards and six touchdowns in just two games. UCF is averaging an outstanding 51 points per game, and their balanced attack, with 177.5 passing yards and 419 rushing yards per contest, has been nearly unstoppable. Additionally, their defense has been stingy, allowing just 8.5 points per game and forcing turnovers, showcasing dominance against their early-season competition. While it's true that UCF's opponents have been relatively weak thus far, the efficiency in third-down situations and ball control (34:03 time of possession against Sam Houston) shows that UCF is executing at a high level regardless of the opposition. TCU, on the other hand, has shown vulnerability, especially on the defensive side of the ball. In their season opener against Stanford, the Horned Frogs struggled to contain the Cardinal, giving up big plays on the ground.
