While spread bets depend on the amount of the victory, moneyline bets are a bit simpler, as all that matters is which team wins. The Cardinal have not had much success on the moneyline, but this example shows us what it looks like to bet on Stanford on the moneyline.

As a +244 underdog against UCLA, a $10 Cardinal bet earns $24.40 for moneyline bettors, while you would’ve needed to bet $24.40 if they were -244 favorites to make $10 in profit.
