Is this a dumb bet? Maybe. Have this projected closer to 2.3 earned runs and more importantly, Perez topped out at 67 pitches in the spring. Think 80 pitches and 5 innings is the most likely outcome here as I can’t imagine they want him facing the right-handed heavy Twins a third time around the order. Just hoping Perez has a quick outing today and can limit damage.
