Jets vs. Panthers
Wilson should play the entire first half and maybe even more. I’m projecting this for closer to 120.5. This pick is also available on PrizePicks at 89.5, and I would play that, as well.
Pick: Zach Wilson Over 88.5 Passing Yards (10/10)
Jets vs. Panthers
Don’t expect Shenault to get a ton of run here. He’s a low aDOT guy who could see some direct handoffs, as well. I'm projecting him for closer to 18.5 yards.
Pick: Laviska Shenault Under 27.5 Receiving Yards (9/10)
Jaguars vs. Cowboys
Rourke should get plenty of playing time here, maybe even the entire second half. He’s a very good runner who will likely scramble a lot, but I still think he clears this based on playing time. I'm projecting him for closer to 80.5.
Pick: Nathan Rourke Over 67.5 Passing Yards (8/10)
Eagles vs. Ravens
It’s a crowded RB room in Philly, so it’s hard to see Brooks getting here without needing to break a huge gain. I’m projecting closer to 24.5.
Pick: Kennedy Brooks Under 36.5 Rushing + Receiving Yards (9/10)
Chargers vs. Rams
Rypien should start and play 1-1 1/2 quarters. He’ll be out there when the Rams; more talented pass catchers are in the game. I’m projecting him for closer to 65.5.
Pick: Brett Rypien Over 49.5 Passing Yards (7/10)
Jets vs. Panthers
Williams is having a great camp and could see a couple of catches out of the backfield. That’ll be the best way for him to rack up yards, and the preseason is when the Rams offense is more likely to target RBs. I’m projecting Williams for closer to 33.5.
Pick: Kyren Williams Over 27.5 Rushing + Receiving Yards
Eagles vs. Ravens
Huntley should start against the Eagles. There’s a battle for the QB2 job in Baltimore, so Huntley could see closer to 1 1/2 quarters. The Ravens have a new pass-heavy offense under Todd Monken, which could come into play here. I’m projecting Huntley for closer to 67.5.
Pick: Tyler Huntley Over 59.5 Passing Yards (8/10)
Chargers vs. Rams
Easton Stick will get the start and could play into the third quarter. Duggan will have scrub WRs to throw to when he comes in and is going to lean on his rushing ability. I’m projecting this closer to 70.5.
Pick: Max Duggan Under 84.5 Passing Yards (8/10)
Jets vs. Panthers
The Jets could be thin at RB if they decide to rest Michael Carter and Zonovan Knight after joint practices this week. I still think they want to evaluate Abanikanda in order to see if they should bring in a veteran back like Dalvin Cook. I’m projecting closer to 32.5, and the number will go up if Carter and/or Knight are ruled out.
Pick: Israel Abanikanda Over 25.5 Rushing Yards (8/10)
Eagles vs. Ravens
The Eagles backfield is crowded, and there is a ton of uncertainty as to how much each back will play. Sermon is getting some buzz and should see a handful of carries here, but his ceiling is lowered due to the crowded backfield. I’m projecting him for closer to 22.5 rushing yards.
Pick: Trey Sermon Under 29.5 Rushing Yards (7/10)
