The Sixers continue to be completely undermanned and now face off against the Utah Jazz. With Philly, Grimes is taking 45% of his shots from beyond the arc while shooting 37%. He is just getting a ton of volume with their injuries. The last two games he’s played against Utah he saw 36 and 29 minutes and made 3 and 5 3s on 7 and 11 attempts. In his last 10 games for the Sixers he has averaged 33.3 minutes and 2.3 3s. However without Maxey and Paul George, I expect a Usage bump in this soft matchup.

Philly’s defense is collapsing – 119.4 PPG allowed in the same stretch, bottom-5 in defensive efficiency. Jazz rebounding edge (45.9 RPG vs. PHI 39.3) keeps them in this one. Philly’s ATS numbers are terrible – 1-7 ATS last 8 home games, 8-21 ATS last 29. Utah struggling on the road but covers often, keeps games close. Sixers don’t have the firepower to cover a full 6.5. Even with Utah’s injuries, their offense and rebounding edge make them the play here.
