This weekend's WNBA action begins with a pair of matchups on Saturday night on NBA TV and Twitter: Fever vs. Aces (9 p.m. ET) and Mercury vs. Storm (9 p.m. ET).
I’ve found some value props from the league-leading Aces, including a scoring prop and assist prop. Here are my top WNBA player props today.
WNBA Player Props & Picks
Fever vs.
Aces
Kelsey Plum, Under 16.5 Points (-110)
Spread | Aces -16.5 |
Time | TV | 9 p.m. ET | NBA TV |
Best Line | FanDuel |
Plum’s hit this over in three straight games and insane efficiency, which will be difficult to continue replicating. On this three game run, where she’s scored 19, 21 and 21 respectively, she’s shooting 66.7% from the field and 59% on 3s while a perfect 7-of-7 on free throws.
Of course she could keep this going, but in the previous two contests – while shooting 55/40/80 splits, she scored 16 each. Ultimately, it’s the efficiency and lack of field goals that give me reason to pause on the run to continue.
She hasn’t shot more than 13 field goals in her last five, and the last five times she has, she’s shot 36%. Think this one should be close, but the lean is under. I wouldn’t play it past 15.5, however.
Pick: Kelsey Plum, Under 16.5 Points |
Candace Parker, Over 3.5 Assists (-132)
Best Line | FanDuel |
Surprised that this is low. Parker has killed this prop in four straight and in five or her last six outings, and Vegas hasn’t adjusted, probably because of the slow assist start she had prior to this stretch.
In her last four games, she has had 24 assists to 3 turnovers – guarantee the Aces will continue use her as a bit of a hub, hitting shooters to activate their inside out game, and hitting rollers / dunker spot occupiers off dribble penetration.
Parker’s been diming, so we’ll ride her over the 3.5. I even like this up to 4.5, though I think it stays here.
Pick: Candace Parker, Over 3.5 Assists |
