The Valkyries have allowed the fewest 2 point attempts per 100 possessions while giving up the most 3 point attempts, making them a clear 3 point funnel defense. That’s a problem for the Storm, who rely heavily on 2 point shots for their offense. It would make sense for them to shift toward more perimeter shots in this tough matchup, and Wheeler leads the team in 3-point attempt rate while knocking down 39% from deep this season. This is the perfect spot for her to let it fly, and she already took advantage in their last meeting, attempting the second most threes of her season (9) and scoring 13 points. I’m projecting her closer to 11.5 points with a fair price around -150 for 10+. Obviously, the clear risk here is the recent trend of my props triggering spontaneous load management. But assuming she doesn’t enter the Witness Protection Program mid game, I love this spot.

🔑 Valkyries ML +198 (FanDuel) 1.5u Already 2-0 vs the Storm this year, great value on the road. The line being only 5.5 but the ML being this lopsided tells me we have great value here in what is projected to be a close game. GS clearly lines up really well vs the Storm, i like this spot.
