The NFL Divisional Round has come to a close, with the San Francisco 49ers holding off the Dallas Cowboys to make their way to the NFC Championship. Below are the Cowboys vs 49ers highlights and top plays that tell the story of how we got here, and how each play affected bettors.

On that note, the 49ers closed as 3.5- or 4-point favorites, depending on the shop, with the over/under at 46.5 or 47. San Francisco covered in a 19-12 win, with the under cashing easily.

Christian McCaffrey was the most expensive anytime touchdown scorer (-165) on the day for a reason. McCaffrey punched it in for the 49ers' first touchdown of the game, giving San Francisco a 16-9 lead and pushing the Niners to -4.5 on the live spread.

At just 35 rushing yards, McCaffrey has came up well short of his rushing over/under prop of 68.5, though.

A 30-yard circus catch from George Kittle brought him to 62 receiving yards for the night, going over his receiving yardage total of 46.5.

CeeDee Lamb's spectacular 49-yard catch brought him to 91 receiving yards on the night and sent him over his receiving yardage total of 75.

With their kicker a question mark, the Cowboys decided to go for it on 4th-and-4, and Dak Prescott stepped up to the challenge — literally. And that 9-yard run sent Prescott over his rushing yardage total of 15.5, as he finished with 22 yards on the ground.

Just two plays later, Prescott was picked off for the second time on the night.

First, the good: Dalton Schultz gave the Cowboys the lead by scoring the first TD of the game. He was +1600 to be the first TD scorer and +200 as an anytime TD scorer.

The bad news, depending on your perspective: Brett Maher had his first extra point of the evening blocked, meaning anyone who bet on him missing an extra point now has a little more money in their pockets.

That prop was +250 at BetRivers, which would have voided all bets if Maher didn't take an extra point, and +500 at SuperBook, which did not have such a provision.

Evil Dak Has Entered the Chat

Throwing a pick at your own 20-yard line? Not great!

Oddsmakers were kind of counting on a Dak Prescott interception, though, as over 0.5 picks thrown by the Cowboys QB was -170.

Eight minutes into the game, there had only been 69 total yards between both teams, which bodes well for under bettors. George Kittle tallied 31 of those yards on this catch.

Incredible Foreshadowing

Maher just missed 2 more and Jerry Jones literally walked on to the field to talk to him. I have NEVER seen that before. https://t.co/GlMrnA0fjP

49ers didn't like Cowboys kicker Brett Maher warming up on their side of field and intervened 😳

They eventually allowed Maher to resume kicking…

Perhaps we should have known pregame that something was going to go wrong for Maher and the Cowboys.
