The Clippers face off against the Blazers after absolutely destroying the Nets last night. They have already ruled Kawhi Leonard out for rest. When Kawhi has sat, Powell sees his scoring jump by about 4.5 points per 100 possessions. He has averaged 23.8 ppg without him this season. Additionally, he has found tremendous success against the Blazers. In both games against Portland this year without Kawhi, he scored 30 points and torched their bottom 3 defense. Powell can spot up and create his own shot and against a Portland defense that struggles to defend wings, I expect this to continue. I’ll back Powell to exceed 24.5 points.
