Under in 6/8 this season, 4.20 pitches per PA is 7th out of 118 qualifying starters. It’s Coors, and I know righties have had success there of late, but it’s a really tough environment for Greene. Last season when he pitched at Coors (4.1 IP 6 H 4 R), he saw a big dip in the movement in his slider. This is nothing new for pitchers at Coors - but Greene is almost exclusively a 2 pitch pitcher. Depleted movement on his slider is going to make his fastball less effective. His hard hit rate that game was 57%. It’s hard to adjust to environments you don’t pitch in often, so I’m expecting more of the same for Greene.
