Nets vs. Pistons
By Joe Dellera
The Pistons take on the Nets who have been abysmal lately. One matchup to keep an eye on is Jalen Duren vs. Nic Claxton on the interior.
Duren has been a monster this season as he has recorded 33 double doubles in 45 starts. Every game he has secured 10 rebounds, he has also reached a double-double with points. This gives me greater confidence than only betting his rebounds prop, which is set at 11.5 boards.
From a matchup perspective, Brooklyn allows the seventh-most rebounds per game as a team. They have recently given up double-doubles to Clint Capela, Jarrett Allen and Evan Mobley.
Duren is one of the league’s best rebounding threats, and his floor as a scorer is incredibly high. He has 10+ points in 87% of games while averaging 13.9 points per game and 11.8 rebounds per game.
I like Duren to record a double-double tonight.
Pick: Jalen Duren Double-Double -140
Nets vs. Pistons
Unders have been cashing at a near 70% rate since the All Star Break because the games are being officiated differently. Players have since been allowed to use more contact on defense, and more illegal screens are being called on offense.
This has resulted in more physicality and contested shots in the lane, and this leads to value in fading teams that don’t shoot efficiently.
Enter the Nets and Pistons.
The Detroit Pistons traded Bojan Bogdonovic, Alec Burks and Kevin Knox II at the deadline — three of their best 3-point shooters by percentage. The Nets traded Royce O’Neale, waived Spencer Dinwiddie and have Mikal Bridges playing through a hand ailment.
Consequently, each team’s offensive firepower has been lessened, and the officiating has shifted in favor of under bettors too. Expect another low scoring game in Nets vs Pistons.
Pick: Under 218.5

Heat vs. Mavericks
Jimmy Butler overs have been great ever since he's started to do Jimmy Butler things again.
His PRA over/under is up to 34.5, and earlier on this run, it was hovering around 30. Even still, he's gone over 34.5 PRA in 10 of 12 games with no signs of slowing down for an extended period.
The Dallas Mavericks defense shouldn't offer a ton of resistance, and Butler and the Heat are rolling right now.
Pick: Jimmy Butler Over 34.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists -105
Bulls vs. Warriors
By Joe Dellera
The Warriors are coming off of a resounding victory against the Milwaukee Bucks last night and now host the Chicago Bulls.
While this could be viewed as a letdown game, it’s an excellent spot for Draymond Green. The Bulls surrender the ninth-most assists per game to their opponents, and it is in large part due to their susceptibility to catch-and-shoot opportunities.
Green is not someone who is walking into a shot himself, but he should find plenty of opportunities to dish to his teammates in advantageous situations.
Draymond has exceeded 4.5 assists in 65% of games with 10 and seven in his most recent games against Chicago. If this moves to plus-money at 5.5, I’d play that as well strictly based on the matchup, and he does have a 49% hit rate there this season.
