Suns vs. Jazz Odds & Betting Predictions - October 28, 2025

We only have a small sample to work off of but so far, the Utah Jazz have the 8th-best defensive rating while the Suns have the 29th. I don't expect the gap to remain this wide over the course of the season, but what if this Jazz defense actually is elite? We know Walker Kessler is the real deal, so there's at least a chance this isn't a fluke. Also worth noting is the Suns are allowing the most points per game off turnovers so far (25.0). This won't be a cakewalk, as Devin Booker currently has a 29.5% usage rate and will get all the shots he wants now with Kevin Durant out. Still, I'm intrigued by this Jazz team enough where I'll bite at these odds for them to win this game outright.

@HPBasketball was on this on Buckets and I've been eying a spot for Sensabaugh myself. The Jazz play the Suns tonight and although the Suns have somewhat limited 3 point frequency, they are allowing opponents to shoot 39.7% from 3. Well above league average. Sensabaugh is a sniper. He is taking 54% of his shots from 3 and has somehow improved on his 43% 3 point percentage last season to 46% from beyond the arc. Utah has been playing an extremely deep rotation so I'd expect about 22 minutes tonight.
