I considered u9.5 Rebounds + Assists but ultimately decided to avoid the headache of trying to fade his rebounds and solely target assists. George averaged 5.6 assists per game last season and with Isaiah Collier ruled out, it makes sense this line is at 6.5. At the same time, the Jazz have Walter Clayton off the bench and it's possible they want to see what he can do at the NBA level, which may keep George's minutes in check. Also worth noting is Ace Bailey is confirmed in, which keeps another body in the Utah rotation. RotoGrinders projections have George at 4.9 assists over 30 minutes, which I'm aligned with. One last thing to note - Walker Kessler played in one preseason game and had 8 assists (George had 2 assists in that game). It's possible we see the offense run through Kessler more this season, although it's impossible to tell from a one game sample. Since this under is popping in the RG projections, I'll ride with it.

George played less than 30 minutes in 19 games last season. He averaged 14.5 points, 3.4 rebounds, and 4.5 assists. Lauri Markkanen is healthy and Ace Bailey is in the mix, so there's more competition for usage heading into this season. The Clippers were 3rd in defensive rating, 4th in rebounding rate, and 10th in assists allowed last season. LA should be a strong defensive unit once again this year.
