Texas Tech got a taste of what it's like playing at Hilton Coliseum on Saturday afternoon, suffering a loss to Iowa State. Now, the Red Raiders have a golden opportunity to bounce back in Lubbock on Tuesday with TCU coming to town.

Jamie Dixon's Horned Frogs have been resilient this season, and Saturday provided even more evidence. The Horned Frogs entered the Octagon of Doom at Kansas State and won on a last-second shot by Jameer Nelson Jr.

This is a classic buy-low, sell-high spot. Here's TCU vs. Texas Tech odds and a pick.

TCU Horned Frogs

TCU picked up an impressive win at Kansas State, but this Tuesday night game against Texas Tech could be a letdown spot.

Although the Horned Frogs are in the top 50 in offensive and defensive efficiency, they struggle to shoot 3-pointers, which is not ideal considering the weak link of the Red Raiders defense is on the perimeter.

Additionally, TCU is a tremendous offensive rebounding team, which could be key against a Texas Tech defense that struggles to box out.

The Horned Frogs do a good job getting to the free-throw line, but the Red Raiders rarely allow their opponents to occupy time at the charity stripe. However, the Frogs shot 72% at the line, which is not great against this Tech team.

While TCU should find some success on the inside, it will take work. Its interior defense on the other end of the floor is a concern, so Texas Tech will be able to score in the paint as well.

Although I like the Horned Frogs, I think their free throw shooting and interior defense will cost them down the stretch. It's unlikely that a Dixon team will fold out of the gate, but it might be a long night for the Frogs on the road.

Texas Tech Red Raiders

The Red Raiders had a tough time at Hilton on Saturday, shooting just 29% from beyond the arc. Fortunately for them, they'll be facing a Horned Frogs defense that isn't the most formidable and is known for giving up easy baskets.

Texas Tech ranks 14th in adjusted offensive efficiency, so I expect it to bounce back in a big way. Guard Pop Isaacs has been the go-to guy and has been supported by sensational forward Darrion Williams all season.

Although they don't have a deep roster, the Red Raiders have been excellent at home, losing just once. They love shooting from beyond the arc, attempting 23.5 triples per game.

They're also skilled at passing the ball around, ranking among the top 50 teams nationally in assists per field goal made. Their offense may be slow, but that should be fine against the Horned Frogs.

With one of the best home-court advantages in college basketball, per KenPom, this is an excellent opportunity to back the Red Raiders.

Betting Pick & Prediction

The Red Raiders — one of the best home teams in college basketball — have been sensational in Lubbock.

I have a lot of respect for Dixon as a coach, but I didn't like what I saw in the Horned Frogs' win over Kansas State. Although they escaped thanks to the heroics of Nelson, it's time to sell high.

We're getting some value with the Red Raiders at home off of a loss. Plus, a lot of great teams in college basketball continue to struggle on the road, which is another reason to back the Red Raiders.

Pick: Texas Tech -4.5 or Better
