NBA Trade Rumors
What Happens With Dejounte Murray?
Murray has been all over the rumor mill this season and with the Hawks sitting 10th in the Eastern Conference standings, there's a possibility they decide to move in a different direction, according to the latest intel Matt Moore has received:
There were renewed reports of interest in the Hawks guard Wednesday, with teams like the Pelicans and Jazz mentioned as suitors. But one league source familiar with talks was skeptical, saying this was likely the Hawks trying to drum up a market for the star guard in order to secure more assets from the Lakers, who have long been considered his eventual landing spot.
Will the Lakers Swing Another Deadline Deal?
The Lakers are always going to be a expected to make moves that will result in a championship. Several players have been rumored to be on the Lakers' list of targets. D'Angelo Russell's name has been bandied about since the offseason when he re-signed with the Lakers. Murray has been a name the Lakers are reportedly interested in, but it doesn't seem like the Lakers have been willing to meet the Hawks' asking price.
Will Andrew Wiggins be Moved?
Wiggins is another player Matt Moore has been hearing chatter about over the past week. Last week he noted that the Mavericks are the team with the most interest in acquiring Wiggins at the deadline, but he's also been linked to the Bucks, and Pacers in other reports.
Is Bruce Brown on the Move?
Brown was already traded once this season to Toronto in the Pascal Siakam deal and while initial thoughts were that the Raptors would try to keep Brown, he has drawn interest from contenders.
