With Evan Mobley being red-hot from the 3 recently, it's been a no-brainer to target him for the 3-point player prop as the Cavaliers face the Grizzlies. Since returning from injury on March 24, Mobley has hit at least one 3-pointer in 7 of of the last 9 games.
His 6-game 3-point streak was just broken as of late where he closed at +115 odds against the Clippers but missed it. But part of the reason why I’m going back to him is because his 3PT attempts per game have doubled this past month (1.9), compared to 3-point attempts prior to the ASB (0.8). While sharing the floor with center Jarrett Allen, he can drift to the 3-point line more often.
Mobley has a great matchup to exploit because The G in Grizzlies may as well stand for G-League, if we're being quite honest. Over the last 30 days, the Grizzlies rank bottom 8 in opponent 3-point attempts, makes and 3-point shooting percentage.
This is a solid matchup with solid odds and a shifting role by Mobley, I have to keep betting this.
The Pick: Evan Mobley O0.5 3PT (+130) vs. Grizzlies
Let's get into Mikal Bridges, shall we? He leads the Nets with 7.3 3-point attempts for the season. That’s increased to 8.1 since the All-Star break and he’s been fairly consistent. Might I add that he has hit this prop in 17 of 25 games since the All-Star break (68% hit rate). Two of those games were against the Raptors and he went 3-12 and 4-10.
Bridges actually fell short last game on Sunday against Kings, as it was a blowout. But entering that one, he had cleared this prop in 11-straight games. Raptors have made it clear that defense is “optional” for the last month. and in the last 30 days, Toronto is last in points allowed per game and bottom-five in opponent 3-point attempts, makes and shooting percentage.
