Kyrie Irving Over 5.5 Assists

The Dallas Mavericks have come out of the gates firing on all cylinders with a 9-4 record while ranking second in scoring with 123.4 points per game.

After being 28th in Pace last season, the Mavericks' new-look offense is playing much faster, and it ranks fourth in Pace this season. That is a big reason why this total has climbed to 245.5 points tonight.

Through his first 10 games, Kyrie Irving is averaging 6.6 assists per game, which is the second-highest in his career. He has recorded six or more assists in eight of those 10 games while recording double-digit assists in two games.

Our NBA Model has Irving projected for 7.5 assists against the Kings, who allow the seventh-most assists in the league.

Expect this game to be a track meet with Irving having plenty of opportunity to reach this over. He is second on the team in total assists and potential assists per game behind Luka Doncic.

Despite scoring a season-high 39 points last game, Irving still found a way to dish out six assists. This prop line is simply too low with Irving's 28.5% usage rate.

Consider climbing the ladder with Irving's assist prop tonight for more value. DraftKings sportsbook is currently offering Irving to capture 8+ assists (+240) and 10+ assists (+800). The matchup is incredible, and Irving has been a key addition to the Mavericks' success this season. Expect him to dish out a healthy amount of assists tonight.

Pick: Kyrie Irving Over 5.5 Assists (-140)

John Collins Over 1.5 Stls + Blks

Similar to the Mavericks and Kings matchup, the Jazz and Suns have a total coming in at more than 240 points.

These two teams played Friday night with the Suns winning 131-128. With another high projected total tonight, a plethora of overs look great in our NBA Prop Model.

The one that stands out the most is John Collins over 1.5 steals and blocks.

With Walker Kessler still out of the lineup, Collins has taken over the interior duties with back-to-back double-doubles averaging 14.5 points and 12 rebounds per game.

He has also stepped up defensively as Collins has recorded nine blocks and one steal in his last three games. He had two blocks before fouling out against the Suns Friday night.

Our Prop Model has Collins projected for 2.8 blocks and steals against the Suns in the rematch. However, I also love his 2+ blocks on DraftKings at +265. Collins has averaged three blocks in his last three games while the Suns are allowing 6.8 blocks per game, which ranks as the third-highest in the league. They are also averaging 14.9 turnovers.

Collins will be around the ball even more in this matchup as the likely defender on Kevin Durant. He will have a ton of opportunity to reach this over given the game environment and no Walker Kessler.

Collins has averaged one or more blocks in all but one season in his career, so this spurt of a recent block party isn't all that much of a surprise.

Pick: John Collins Over 1.5 Steals+Blocks (-130)
