On Monday, the Pelicans defeated the Timberwolves, 121-107. While Zion Williamson led the way with 36 points, Brandon Ingram and CJ McCollum each scored 20 points. Tonight, with a great matchup against the Wizards, I will be backing Ingram.

Also on Monday, the Heat defeated the Hornets, 116-114, in a nail-biter in Charlotte. Duncan Robinson scored 24 points but also contributed on the glass. That could continue tonight in a back-to-back rematch in Miami.

The Suns pulled out a three-point win over the Warriors on Tuesday. They are at home again tonight against the Nets. Mikal Bridges could be in for a big night against his former team.

Ingram is averaging 5.4 assists per game this season and he has had at least five assists in each of his past nine games. In six of those games, he has had six assists with a high of eight against the Jazz in that span. Tonight, we need six assists from him and he has the matchup to get there.

The Pelicans just topped 120 points against the league's top defense. Now, they get the league's worst defense in the Wizard, who are last in points allowed, defensive rating and assists allowed. On Monday, three different Sixers (Tobias Harris, Joel Embiid and Tyrese Maxey) had six assists and De'Anthony Melton added five. Forwards Royce O'Neale, Franz Wagner, Paolo Banchero and Joe Ingles have soared over their assists line against the Wizards recently as well.

I am expecting the Pelicans to put up a big number on the scoreboard tonight. Ingram's scoring will contribute to that but he will also set up his teammates. Ingram has two games with eight assists this season. You can back him for his third at +260 on FanDuel.

Pick: Brandon Ingram Over 5.5 Assists (-130)

Normally, when you think Robinson needing three of something, it is usually a shot well behind the arc. He did knock down five threes on Monday. However, he also pulled down seven rebounds, smashing his line of 2.5 in that game.

Robinson has only hit this line in four of his past nine games, but he had two rebounds in three of the other games. Additionally, the Heat need a little more help on the glass with Bam Adebayo on the shelf. Without Adebayo, Robinson has six rebounds in two of his last three games.

The matchup against the Hornets helped on Monday. Charlotte is 24th in rebounds allowed per game this season. The teams also attempted 76 three-pointers combined on Monday. Misses off threes turn into long rebounds and Robinson had six defensive boards on Monday. Over his past three games, he is averaging 6.5 boards on eight rebounding chances per game, per NBAStats.

If Robinson tracks down six rebounds again, he will offer some value. You can take him for four rebounds at +150 and six rebounds at +550 on FanDuel.

Pick: Duncan Robinson Over 2.5 Rebounds (-148)

Last February, the Suns went to Brooklyn and won, 116-112, just before the trade deadline. Bridges scored 21 points in that game. It turns out that Barclays Center would be his future home arena after he was traded in a package along with Cam Johnson for Kevin Durant. Tonight will be the first time Bridges and Johnson take on their former team since the trade.

Prior to the trade, Bridges had scored 20 points in 11 of his final 13 games with the Suns. It foreshadowed what he has done with the Nets. He finished last season averaging 26.1 points per game. This season, he is averaging 23.1 points per game. He is as consistent as they come for 20 points as he has scored 20 in 16-of-22 (72.7%) games this season.

He has scored 25 just five times this season, but one of them came last week when we backed him against Atlanta. Hopefully, my read on Bridges is correct again.

Now, the Suns matchup is not nearly as generous as Atlanta. However, Phoenix lost Josh Okogie last night and he might be held out on a back-to-back. Durant could return tonight but likely will not be on Bridges. I like his chances against Bradley Beal and Eric Gordon.

With Bridges likely to hit 20 points tonight, I like his chances of scoring five more. He should be aggressive against his former team and he averages 17 field goal attempts per game already. Additionally, in the five games Bridges scored 25 points, he also topped 30 points in four of them. You can take Bridges for 30 at +260 on FanDuel.

Pick: Mikal Bridges Over 24.5 Points (+105)
