NBA Player Props for Saturday Nov. 25

Welcome to another great weekend of basketball – and welcome to our NBA player props, with player prop picks and bets for Saturday, Nov. 25.

With only four games on the schedule tonight, these two NBA player props featuring Jalen Johnson and Anthony Davis stand out among the rest in our prop model. Both players are in completely different game environments as the Hawks have a total hovering near 250 points and the Lakers' total continues to drop around 225 points.

The best game environment tonight is this matchup between the Washington Wizards and Atlanta Hawks. Both teams rank in the top three in Pace and bottom six in Defensive Rating. The over/under has risen to 248.5 points as they each allow over 122 points per game this season.

Expect a flurry of points scored in this up-tempo game. The Hawks are 8.5-point road favorites as the Wizards have a putrid 2-13 record.  The Wizards are extremely susceptible on the glass allowing a league-high 50.8 rebounds per game and ranking dead last in Rebounding Percentage at 43.9%.

The Wizards are also attempting 91.9 field goals per game, which is the second-highest in the league. With a plethora of rebound chances to go around, Johnson will get plenty of opportunity to capture eight or more rebounds in this spot. Our model has him projected for 9.4 rebounds, while his prop line is only set at 7.5 rebounds.

Johnson played his way into the starting earlier this year as he is averaging 14.6 points and 7.7 rebounds while shooting 59% from the field and 42.1% from behind the arc. He is coming off a season-high 40 minutes in his last game while playing 31+ minutes in eight of his last nine games.

These two teams met up on November 1st, with the Hawks winning 130-121. At that time, Johnson was still coming off the bench, but he still recorded 11 rebounds in his 24 minutes of action.

Johnson ranks second on the Hawks in rebound chances with 12.7 per game. Given the elite rebounding matchup, I wouldn't mind taking Johnson at over 8.5 rebounds (+108) on FanDuel. His double-double odds on DraftKings at +220 are also worth a look. Either way, this is a great spot for the third-year pro to rack up rebounds tonight.

Pick: Jalen Johnson Over 7.5 Rebounds (-130)

Anthony Davis Under 15.5 Rebs + Asts

Davis won't get the same luxury as Johnson because the Cavaliers' Twin Towers of Jarrett Allen and Evan Mobley are always a difficult interior matchup. Despite the Lakers winning six of their last seven games, they are 4.5-point road underdogs in Cleveland with the total continuing to fall to 224.5 points.

Each of the last five Lakers' games have gone under the total points line, so we can expect a slow-paced grudge match between these two teams tonight. The Cavaliers have allowed the sixth-fewest amount of points in the paint this season with 45.1 per game, while opponents are shooting just 45.5% against them.

Davis will also have to battle the massive Cavaliers front court on the glass, which has been a difficult task. In his last three full games against them, Davis is averaging 10.3 rebounds and 3.7 assists per game. That is well below his 15.5 rebounds and assists prop line tonight. Our prop model has Davis projected for only 14.6 rebounds and assists.

Shop around for the best odds, but currently FanDuel has his under at -106. Davis has shown signs of disengagement when things aren't going his way. If he isn't scoring, Davis won't be looking to battle on the boards either.

In similar tough matchups against the Nuggets, Clippers, Heat and Suns' front courts, Davis is only averaging 9.4 rebounds and 3.4 assists per game through five games. The odds are great now, but I would consider his under at 14.5 rebounds and assists as well. Allen and Mobley will make everything difficult for Davis tonight.

Pick: Anthony Davis Under 15.5 Rebs+Asts (-106)
