Sunday’s NBA slate concludes in San Francisco, where the Jekyll and Hyde Warriors are playing at home, which is excellent news for targeting Klay Thompson's over on his pointsprop.

The Warriors guard has been terrific in the Bay Area, showing noticeable home vs. away splits this season. Thompson has eclipsed at least 22 points in eight of his last ten home games, playing at least 32 minutes. Since December, Thompson is averaging 25.0 points per game at home compared to 18.8 points on the road playing with Steph Curry.

Tonight’s game should be competitive. There is “strong optimism” that Anthony Edwards will return, making it the first time he and Karl-Anthony Edwards played on the court together since November 28th, 2022.

As for the matchup, Thompson scored 32 and 23 points in his last two games vs. the Timberwolves at home. With Jaden McDaniel’s on-ball defense taking on the Steph Curry assignment, I expect better looks from passes made to Klay Thompson.

Additionally, expect more than average shots outside of the paint with Karl-Anthony Towns back playing alongside Rudy Gobert. During November, when all three players started together, the Timberwolves gave up the league's most opposing 3-pointers (14.1) outside the perimeter.

In a favorable matchup at home that benefits his shot profile, I love the over on Thompson’s points line tonight. I’d play this line up to -130.
