Kel'el Ware Over 30.5 Points + Rebounds (-115)

On Friday night, the Heat set a franchise record with 153 points, led by 23 points from Bam Adebayo and 22 from Tyler Herro. However, with the Heat locked into the 10th seed, both Adebayo and Herro will be resting for today's game. That should lead to more opportunity for Kel'el Ware as Miami closes out the regular season.

Ware enters today's matchup with three double-doubles in his last five games, including on Monday when he had 19 points and 17 rebounds. Ware has cleared this line in two of the three games he has played without Adebayo. In the two overs, he went for 19 points and 13 rebounds and 19 points and 17 rebounds in the aforementioned game against Philadelphia.

Today, Ware gets a Washington team that will finish the regular season last in points and rebounds to centers. This matchup also may provide more motivation for him. Miami selected Ware 15th over in last June's NBA Draft while Washington selected Alexandre Sarr first overall.

Sarr has also shown flashes this season as he has knocked down 100 3s and blocked 100 shots this season. If the two promising young bigs battle it out today, I like Ware to get 31 points and rebounds today.

Pick: Kel'el Ware Over 30.5 Points + Rebounds (-115)

This is the biggest game of the day, the one that will decide most of the seeding outcomes in the Western Conference. The Warriors are 2-point home favorites here, showcasing just how close this game is, and I think it should be even closer.

I make this game Warriors -0.6; a basic pick‘em juiced towards the Warriors.

Golden State has gotten the headlines since the Butler trade, and rightfully so. They are 23-8 with the No.1 defense since adding Jimmy Buckets. But right behind them is the Clippers at 21-10 with the 5th best offense and 7th-best defense. Their spread differential is better than Golden State’s in that span, per Cleaning The Glass.

Just as notable, since the trade deadline, the Clippers are 17-6 when Kawhi Leonard plays and 13-10 ATS.

The Clippers have the wing defense to at least hang with Golden State. Kris Dunn is one of the league’s best perimeter defenders. Leonard is no the defensive monster he once but remains very capable of lock down defense on Butler. Ivica Zubac’s rim protection allows the Clippers to play more aggressively on the perimeter.

The Clippers are 3-0 this season vs. Golden State with an average spread margin of 9.0. It hasn’t been close. You can argue about the addition of Butler; Leonard didn’t play in any of those games, either. You can argue they were months ago and the Warriors are playing better ball; so are the Clippers.

I think this game will be razor-thin, and I think the Clippers can win the game outright. I’ll grab the points and play moneyline on the Clippers.

But my favorite bet of this game is Overtime +1500 at DraftKings. These two teams need this game like blood. Unless the Wolves lose to the Utah Jazz, this game could put either of these teams into the play-in. They need it. I think it’s down to the wire with a good chance at overtime.

Pick: Clippers Moneyline (+125) | Clippers +3 | Overtime +1500

The Lakers are playing literally no one. All of the main characters are out.

Take Bronny James overs, or something.

The Blazers aren't playing much of anyone either, but at least they have young depth.

Pick: Trail Blazers -5 (-110)

This is literally the one game on the slate that truly matters for both teams. A win here can keep either team out of the Play-In, and I expect max effort and minutes for both teams.

Kawhi Leonard is someone who has had his minutes managed this entire season for this exact moment: a game with concrete playoff implications.
