Nuggets vs. Wizards
By Joe Dellera
The Nuggets head to Washington to take on the Wizards who are playing their second game in as many days.
The Wizards have struggled this entire season, and even though they have brought in Marvin Bagley (who has played well) to man the center position, this is an entirely different matchup.
Jokic is averaging 12 rebounds per game on 18.6 rebound chances per game this season, per NBA Advanced Stats. Here, the Wizards present a pace-up opportunity as they play at the second-fastest Pace in the league and with such a weak offense, there should be plenty of defensive boards for Jokic to grab.
I like Jokic to exceed 11.5 Rebounds.
Pick: Nikola Jokic Over 11.5 Rebounds (-150)
Heat vs. Magic
Defense could take center stage on Sunday when the Orlando Magic host the Miami Heat. Both teams rank in the bottom third of offensive efficiency while ranking in the top 10 defensively.
Thus, it’s no surprise that this game features the lowest total on the board at 214.5. I suspect we’ll see plenty of opportunities to rebound the basketball, and Tyler Herro is one player who could have an impact. Herro’s averaging 5.7 rebounds per game this season, but he’s had six or more rebounds in four straight games.
In an earlier meeting against the Magic, he collected eight rebounds. Herro’s rebounding prop is set at 5.5, and he’s gone over this number in seven of his last 10 games and 11 of his previous 15. We’re also getting great value on the over at +120 odds.
This offer is too good to pass up, as this matchup of two below-average offenses bodes well for his chances of outperforming his rebounding prop. I would be comfortable playing these odds down to -110.
Pick: Tyler Herro Over 5.5 rebounds (+120)

Pacers vs. Suns
I first want to point out that this is a NBA key numbers grab. When betting NBA favorites, playing the -4.5 spread is my favorite number to back because the four most common outcomes in NBA games are 7, 5, 6 and 8.
Getting the -4.5 here gives us a winning ticket on any of these very frequent outcomes. This does not mean to play any -4.5 spread blindly. We also have the Suns home, on a 4 game win streak, healthy and finally gelling.
On the flip side, the Pacers will be reshuffling their rotation after swapping key players in the recent Siakam trade. I expect this line to close around 5.5 I am willing to play 1.5 units on the 4.5, 1 unit on the 5, and half a unit on the 5.5.
As the number moves the value lessens, if you can grab a -4.5, it is my favorite spot for Sunday's NBA action.
