Magic +2.5 vs. Thunder
7:30 p.m. ET ⋅ TNT
This is mainly because of the recent form for each team. The Thunder have owned this matchup in their past 10 meetings, going 8-2 against the spread head-to-head.
The Thunder, of late, have fallen off and are just 2-6 against the spread in their past eight games. They are coming off a win over the Kings, and I love that.
On the other hand, the Magic are 7-1 against the spread in their past eight games. They have the fourth-best defense in the NBA in that span and I have a lot of respect for Magic head coach Jamahl Mosley, who has his team bought in.
Over 215 vs. Timberwolves
10:00 p.m. ET ⋅ NBA League Pass
By Matt Moore
I have this projected at 227.
The Wolves have been an over team on the road this season and are 16-12 to road overs. Portland is reconfiguring its roster right now, so we can't expect much defense.
Either the Wolves are going to substantially outperform their team total, or the Blazers will. The edge here is big enough that I will take the over.
Pistons +11 at Lakers
10:30 p.m. ET ⋅ NBA League Pass
By Jay Money
Both teams are on the front end of a back-to-back in this matchup.
Don't look now, but the Pistons are starting to come together. Of course, they started this season so poorly, but they are playing much better of late. They have covered three straight, six of their past seven and 12 of their past 14!
They have also covered seven straight games as a double-digit underdog.
