Let's get to the NBA predictions for Wednesday.
Celtics -4 at 76ers
7:30 p.m. ET ⋅ ESPN
By Sean Little
Scheduling is an important part of this cap. Each team has played 4 games in their last 6 days. The 76ers are on the back-to-back while the Celtics are not. The Celtics when they have the rest advantage (playing a team on a back-to-back after an day-off) are 10-1 against the spread. The Celtics have won 21 games in a row vs teams on the second leg of a back-to-back.
The Celtics have been dominating since their loss to the Bucks and the 76ers without Oubre lack serious depth. According to Dunks and Threes, the 76ers have played the 18th toughest schedule, while the Celtics are fifth.
Bulls -1.5 vs. Magic
8:00 p.m. ET ⋅ NBA League Pass
This to me is a scheduled loss for the Magic. They are coming off a back-to-back after losing to the Nets last night. Without Markelle Fultz they struggled defensively against the Nets' guards.
I think the Bulls bounce back after a day of rest and a loss to the Milwaukee Bucks. With a lot of chatter around Bulls' trade options, they may play with some extra motivation.
Cavaliers 1H -5.5 at Trail Blazers
10:00 p.m. ET ⋅ NBA League Pass

I like a fast start for the Cavs here. They are going to come back pissed off after losing to the Kings two nights ago and I think they get off to a fast start in Portland. The Blazers are down both of their point guards, so Darius Garland and Donovan Mitchell should be able to get busy against a depleted Blazers squad.
Trail Blazers 1H Team Total u52.5 vs. Cavaliers
10:00 p.m. ET ⋅ NBA League Pass

I think the Cavs will come out with a different level of defensive intensity. They have been giving up a lot of 3's but the good thing is the Blazers don't make a lot of them. The Blazers get most of their points inside the paint which just happens to be where the Cavs' defense is best.
As mentioned, they are down their top two point guards and the offense will probably struggle.
