It is a very light slate in the NBA tonight with only two games and the first NBA Global game this season. The Hawks take on the Magic in Mexico City at 9:30 p.m. ET and that is where our guys are looking for their NBA Best Bets.

Hawks -3.5 at Magic

It is a great spot for Atlanta. They lost as a favorite on the road in Oklahoma City on Monday night. The Magic are also coming off a loss in Dallas on Tuesday. After a great first half, they crumbled in the second and fell to the Mavericks by 15 points.
If you look at their head-to-head matchup, Orlando has covered the last two games against the Hawks. The Hawks have a run-and-gun type of offense which I think benefits them in the altitude and trying to simply ware out the Magic defensively.
I got the line at -2.5 but I would take it up to -3.5.

The Hawks have had the Magic's number, 8-2 straight up, over the last 10 matchups between the two. It looks like Markelle Fultz may be out tonight, or at least limited because of knee soreness on the same knee he tore his ACL on.
Even if he plays, I think the Hawks are a much deeper team, and in Mexico City, the elevation will lead to the need for depth. Experience is a factor too in these out-of-country games and the Hawks have much more of that.
