Bucks -8 vs. Lakers

7:30 p.m. ET ⋅ TNT

By Jay Money

The Bucks lost to the Lakers earlier this month, but the Lakers haven't played many road games lately. In fact, this is only their second road game over their past 11 contests. They have had a favorable schedule, but are only 13-19 against the spread on the road, the fifth-worst mark in the NBA.

The Bucks are 5-2 both straight up and against the spread in their past seven games and I think the Lakers will slip up on the road tonight.

Thunder -1 at Pelicans

8:00 p.m. ET ⋅ NBA League Pass

By Sean Little

This is the best game on the board.

This is going to be a smaller play for me because this is a tough slate. The Thunder are coming off their worst game of the year and I love fading teams that are coming back home after a road trip.

The Pelicans are coming off a four-game road trip and what better reception then facing Oklahoma City. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander has made it clear that he wants to win MVP and the Thunder likely have to get the No. 1 seed in the West for him to do that. I think the Thunder will go to New Orleans and bounce back after their loss to Milwaukee.

New Orleans will be without Brandon Ingram and I expect this game to be close, so I'm going to back the side that knows it needs to keep pace with the Denver Nuggets.

Mavericks -1.5 at Kings

10:00 p.m. ET ⋅ TNT

By Andrew O'Connor-Watts

The Mavericks are going up against the Kings in Sacramento, where the Kings have struggled, going just 13-20 against the spread at home this season. This is also a bad rest spot for Sacramento.

The Kings are playing their third game in four nights and their fifth game in seven nights. Teams in that spot are 14-16-1 against the spread this season. Both teams are on a back-to-back and the Mavericks do have to fly to Sacramento, but are 7-1 against the spread in their past eight games and have been playing much better lately. Dallas is third in net rating (+10.3) in that span and 10th in effective field goal percentage.

I generally like to wait on the injury report in back-to-back games because it is so important to see who will play. The Mavericks are 3-6 straight up without Luka Doncic and 11-11 without Kyrie Irving, so having a healthy lineup is paramount.
