There are no days off for our NBA experts at Buckets. Matt Moore, Jim Turvey, and Joe Dellera have the best bets in the association tonight for the Spurs at Pacers, the Clippers at Knicks and the Celtics at Timberwolves.

Over 238 vs. Spurs

Two teams that have been reliable to the over. Two of the top-5 teams in pace (pacers 2) (Spurs 5). This is an example where the books can’t set this total high enough as this number plays toward the extreme.

Victor Wembanyama played 37 minutes in an overtime loss last night, so I expect him to rest a bit more tonight and play less minutes. If he is out for longer periods, the Spurs’ defense struggles severely.

Pacers are 5-1 to the over and the Spurs are 4-1. I think the Pacers, in this spot against a tired team, are going to run up and down the court. The Pacers got annihilated by the Celtics and are going to run mediocre and bad teams out of the gym.

Clippers +1.5 at Knicks

This line is shocking. The Knicks offense is not good right now as Julius Randle simply can’t get the lid of the basket. While the line is fishy, I am assuming the Clippers are playing their guys tonight, but this is something to be aware of as the game gets closer. The Clippers have the #1 half-court offense in the league and I think the Clippers are much better than people think.

Boston’s rotations are a little bit smaller, and historically Gobert has hit this line 7/11 times against Porzingis. He averages 13.3 rebounds per game against Porzingis in his career.

I don’t think Karl-Anthony Towns’ presence matters much in this spot and Gobert still plays the drop coverage where he can eat up rebounds. He has exceeded his rebound line in 4/5 games this year and 11.5 at +105 is too short for me not to take.
