OKC’s weakness defensively is the spot up shot - Herb will get looks from three, but he only shot 31% from deep at home this season, and ranks in the bottom 18th percentile in pts per possession on spot up shots. The Thunder also limit opp fast break points (2nd fewest in the NBA). Usage for Ingram and CJ in a win or go home should bump up, which should limit Herb’s potential assists as well. And this is a great spot for both JoVal and Trey Murphy as well. As the primary defender on the incredibly high usage SGA, I don’t expect him to be in rebounding position on most possessions.

Averaging 11.7 PPG on road vs 15.7 at home. 9.5 PPG in 33.9 MPG in 4g vs NO this year.

JVal just gets no run vs OKC. Averages just 22.2 mins per game and just 11.3 points, 7.3 rebounds, and 1 assist. Nance is on the report but even if he can’t go I’d expect more Hayes and Dyson Daniels mins than for the pivot to JVal for extra size.
