I’m fading the hot hand here. Sengun’s likely return tonight on the second end of a back to back is significant. Sengun severely cuts into Amen’s passing chops as he occupies the paint and it’s a bit more difficult for Amen to drive, kick, and find success with dribble penetration. Additionally, he slices into his rebounding opportunities. When Amen torched Brooklyn two games ago, Sengun did not play either. With Sengun and playing 30+ mins he is averaging 13.6 RA with 10.1 rebounds and 3.5 assists. Given that Amen should start, I don’t think the splits with and without FVV are as relevant because his rotation will align more with Sengun now. I think this line is too high considering the history playing alongside of Sengun and that Brooklyn plays at the slowest Pace in the league.
