Thunder vs. Hawks Odds & Betting Predictions - October 25, 2025

This is a pretty fair line given his career averages, but Hawks will be without Kristaps Porzingis, Jalen Johnson and Zaccharie Risacher. This is also the backend of a back-to-back for the Hawks. RotoGrinders projections have Trae at 11.14 RA and my personal projections are aligned with that at 11 RA. Last season, OKC allowed the 4th fewest assists per game. They did allow a lot of rebounds but I'm hoping Trae doesn't go bonkers on the glass. This isn't the same OKC defense without Jalen Williams but I'll back them to slow Trae down here in the RA department.

Last season after Jalen went down with his injury, Dyson stepped up as the Hawks secondary BH. Even though the roster looks different the role should be the same (LeVert/NAW same role + Kennard a better C&S threat off the bench). In those games w/o Jalen and w/ Trae, Dyson covered 33/44 (75%) and AVG 5.1 AST on 9.5 pAST. In two games this season he has 6 pAST (both w/ Jalen) - over 61.5% last season w/ 6-10 pAST. Obviously expecting a facilitating bump here, so in games w/ 8-12 pAST, he was over 82.4%. OKC are usually a tough MU but as I said in the Jalen writeup (played Jalen assists in cord this morning before injury report), they aren't 100% and are coming into this one w/ tired legs off two 2OT games. Dyson is going to be relied on as a BH even more to help take stress off Trae at times - especially when Dort/Cason pick up full court. Dyson will have his minutes staggered w/ Trae and take over running the 2nd unit the same way Jalen does.

Last season without JJ and KP, Daniels cleared this line in 4 of 5 games and averaged 12.5 RA. The Thunder will be a challenging defense, but I expect some more facilitating reps from Daniels to free up Trae Young and he obviously gets a nice rebound % bump with the Hawks missing a lot of big men/ putting attention Hartenstein and Chet. #PlayerProps
