Nuggets vs. Mavericks Odds & Betting Predictions - March 17, 2024

The Denver Nuggets head to Dallas to take on the Dallas Mavericks on Sunday. While Luka Doncic’s status is in flux (hamstring-questionable), Denver should be able to take care of business regardless. One player to target is Aaron Gordon. Aaron Gordon has thrived in this matchup, he has averaged 22.0 points, 7.0 rebounds, and 4.3 assists in three games over the last two seasons. While Gordon may be tasked with guarding Luka on the defensive side of the ball, Luka’s movements may be slightly hampered if he’s dealing with a hamstring injury. But the bigger issue with Luka having a balky hamstring is if he is covering Gordon since Gordon is less of a shooting threat it exposes him on cuts and puts him in the PnR with Jokic. Gordon’s ability to cut to the rack while also facilitating for others will make him a tough cover for Dallas today. I expect Gordon to continue his success against Dallas and exceed 22.5 PRA tonight.

Gordon would’ve cleared this line on just points in both matchups this season, but it’s helped that’s he’s added 4 and 5 assists in each of those two games, so I’m rolling with the P+A line (29/24/26 P+A in his last three games vs. DAL)
