Going back to the well here with Yordan. The plate appearances have told me he’s tracking the ball well, he’s just been unlucky. His BABIP is .143 and he has had a handful of hard-hit outs this last week (2 barrels, 0 XBH). Also has a 11.1K%, so not like he’s struggling at the plate… He faces Bassitt who he is 5/15 with 4 HRs against and Bassitt has an extremely low chase/whiff rate - so we should see plenty of action in play. His barrel rate last year jumped concerningly to 8.3% and in his first start, he was barreled on 2/15 balls in play. Only a matter of time before Yordan gets going - so happy to buy him again here
