Fresno State vs. Oregon St Odds & Betting Predictions - September 6, 2025

We finally saw the Matt Entz offense. Played bully ball, 351 on the ground, 8 yards per carry, 5 rushing scores against Georgia Southern. They won 42-14 despite going -2 in the turnover margin. Meanwhile, Oregon State have some issues in the trenches. They couldn’t rush the passer, 0 sacks against a true freshman from Cal. And they couldn’t block it up in the run game, 2.4 yards per carry with a back like Hankerson is a scary number for line that just replaced four starters. This offense with Murphy doesn’t scare me, and Fresno just put Georgia Southern in a box for four quarters. That should be difficult given the QB and skill guys, yet they completely shut ‘em down. And as we know, Maalik Murphy is not a big scrambler, true dual threat. Jalon Daniels gave Fresno fits, when he tucked and when he extended plays to give his receivers time to work. Murphy won’t be able to do that, and I like Fresno to continue their growth under Entz.
