The Clemson Tigers got back on track this past Saturday with a victory over Boston College. However, the same can't be said for the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets, as they come into this matchup on a five-game losing streak.

Clemson's impressive victory has made it sizable favorites in this matchup, but the Yellow Jackets are still at .500 despite their losing streak. So, is this a buy-low spot on Georgia Tech?

Perhaps there's another angle that presents more value.

Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets

The Yellow Jackets haven't looked up to the task against their ACC foes, and their downfall has come on the offensive end of the floor. Georgia Tech comes into this matchup ranked 241st in effective field goal percentage.

However, we could see signs of life from the Jackets here, as they've had far more success working the ball inside and using their size to clean up missed shots. They should have the opportunity to control the offensive glass, as they can attack the Tigers from the perimeter.

Clemson has been vulnerable from beyond the arc, as it ranks 237th in 3-point percentage allowed. While Georgia Tech hasn't been excellent from deep, its volume of outside shots should increase, and its hard work on the glass should allow it to net more baskets, even if they're inefficient.

Clemson Tigers

Clemson's struggles heading into its last matchup were peculiar, as extended cold stretches from this club aren't what you would expect.

Well, the Tigers righted the ship, and that should carry over here.

This Tigers team can hurt opposing defense from all three levels. Their star center — PJ Hall — has quietly been one of the best big men in the country and can dominate the paint, since Georgia Tech lacks the size to match up with him.

In addition to Hall, Clemson's backcourt of Joseph Girard III and Chase Hunter will also be a big factor, as the Yellow Jackets have allowed their opponents to shoot over 41% from mid-range.

Georgia Tech has a lot to handle on the defensive end, and it hasn't given us any reason not to be confident in the Tigers offensively.

Betting Pick & Prediction

The Tigers are poised to put up another high point total here, as the Yellow Jackets don't have the size or skill to contain them.

However, that doesn't mean Georgia Tech won't punch back when it has the ball.

The Yellow Jackets have the size to control the offensive glass, and they'll have the matchup to get it going from beyond the arc.

Take the over.

Pick: Over 149 (Play to 151.5)
