Magic vs. Pistons Player Prop
The Orlando Magic shocked the world by upsetting the Detroit Pistons last week, and they'll look to extend their lead with another victory on Wednesday in Game 2.
Orlando has found its rhythm on offense again after losing its first play-in game to the 76ers. Banchero's return to efficiency has driven the team's recent success.
Banchero shot 14-of-44 from the field in the two losses that immediately preceded the official start of the 2026 NBA Playoffs. However, he's flipped the script in the Magic's last two wins.
Banchero averaged 24.0 points per game on 53.1% shooting in his outings against the Hornets and Pistons. That's a considerable step in the right direction for the versatile forward, who has never shot better than 46.0% from the field for a season.
Detroit has the league's third-best scoring defense, but Banchero had his way with the Eastern Conference's top team during the regular season. He tallied 26.3 points per contest on 52.4% shooting across three meetings and made at least 10 free throws in each matchup.
Orlando's desire to seek out contact and Detroit's physical defense are a match made in heaven. The Magic's leading scorer has a great chance to put on another strong performance.
Pick: Paolo Banchero Over 20.5 Points (-123)
Suns vs. Thunder Player Prop
I emphasized why Jalen Williams' point total (17.5) was ideal in Game 1 of the series between the Thunder and Suns last week, when he racked up 22 points. The books have raised that number slightly (to 18.5)ahead of Game 2, but his assist total remains tantalizing.
Only Shai Gilgeous-Alexander can top Williams' mark of 5.5 assists per game among Thunder players this season. The swingman excels as a distributor and has showcased that skill at a high level against Phoenix.
Williams has now faced the Suns five times this year (including Game 1), despite dealing with nagging hamstring injuries all season. He averaged 6.2 assists per game against Phoenix in those contests, while only falling short of six dimes twice.
Williams totaled six helpers in 29 minutes en route to the Thunder's latest blowout victory. A closer game could give him more room to improve upon that mark. Especially as a player who posted a career-high 7.0 assists per 36 minutes during the regular season in 2025-26.
