The Huddle got it first 🤝 The Hornets face off against the Pistons on Sunday afternoon and one player that has emerged for them is Moussa Diabate. Diabate entered the season as the third-string Center and has been excellent when he’s given run. He’s seen this more now with Nick Richards being traded a month ago and then Mark Williams’ status will be in flux moving forward with the rescinded trade with the Lakers. When Diabate has played without Williams and Richards this season, he is averaging 10.4 rebounds per game; however, we just saw him play 33 minutes last game and this average is being pulled down by a few low minute games. When he’s played 20 minutes, this average jumps to 12.5 and he’s exceeded this 10.5 line in 11/13 games. He is averaging 24.5 Rebound Chances per game. This matchup against Detroit is tougher with Duren and Stewart on the interior; however, he had 16 boards against this Detroit team back in November under these same circumstances. I’ll grab over 10.5 Rebounds and will keep an eye out for alts.
