Slow day on the diamond this Thursday, with only three MLB games on the docket, including two in the night slate — Giants vs. Mets and Braves vs. Diamondbacks.
It’s always tough to find side or total value on these mini-slates, but there’s usually some sort of player prop worth taking a shot on.
As such, we have two pitcher props for Thursday’s two nighttime matchups, including one for each game.
Read on for our MLB predictions, picks, and props for Thursday.

Braves vs. Diamondbacks Strikeout Prop Pick
Action PRO projects Braves starter Reynaldo Lopez for just 3.8 strikeouts in his matchup against the Diamondbacks tonight, providing a 9% edge against the market when compared to his current prop line of over/under 4.5, which is good enough to mark the Under with a B- grade in our system.
In his previous start versus the Royals, he fanned just three batters across six innings. That alone was more work than he managed in 2025, when a right-shoulder injury ended his season after just five frames.
On Thursday, he'll face an Arizona offense with the seventh-lowest strikeout rate among MLB lineups last season.
Pick: Reynaldo Lopez Under 4.5 Ks
Mets vs. Giants Pitching Outs Prop Prediction
By Doug Ziefel
With the current form of these two lineups, it's hard to anticipate much offense.
However, David Peterson does not have to get rocked to exit the game early.
The Giants will find their way on base against Peterson and will go from there. The lineup is far more dangerous than the one Peterson saw in his first start against Pittsburgh, with several bats that hammer lefties.
None of the arms in the Mets' bullpen were heavily taxed, despite working extra innings. So look for Carlos Mendoza to make a concerted effort to prevent a blow-up inning and get Peterson out of the game when we see him find trouble the second time through the order.
Pick: David Peterson Under 17.5 Outs
