We have plenty of World Cup action to discuss with six games on each slate until Saturday. On Thursday, it'll be Groups D, E, and F in action, with the USMNT already qualified and confirmed in the top spot.
Ecuador vs. Germany and Curacao vs. Ivory Coast are the early matchups at 4:00 p.m. ET in New Jersey and Philadelphia, respectively. Then, at 7:00 p.m. ET, Japan and Sweden meet in Dallas, while Tunisia and the Netherlands face off in Kansas City. The slate finishes at 10:00 p.m. ET with Turkiye vs. USA in Los Angeles and Paraguay vs. Australia in San Francisco.
Let's get into our World Cup prop picks for Thursday, June 25.
World Cup Prop Picks for Thursday
Germany vs Ecuador Prop Picks
Germany already secured the top spot in Group E, and Julian Nagelsmann confirmed today's lineup will be a mix between starters and substitutes, so the burden is on Ecuador.
The South Americans have struggled offensively, failing to score in both previous matches, but have also conceded only one goal. They will be in desperation mode in the second half unless they're ahead, which seems unlikely, and even then, the German bench players will be motivated to prove themselves and enjoy the World Cup.
Ivory Coast vs Curacao Prop Picks
There are quite a few options here. You can go with Amad Diallo and Yan Diomande to score or assist in this game, or maybe just as anytime goalscorers. Or even bet on Curacao's GK Eloy Room to record a few saves, but the trend is clear.
The African side should win by some margin and advance, so the best choice is to back them to win both halves in this final group matchup.
Netherlands vs Tunisia Prop Picks
Cody Gakpo has scored five goals in seven World Cup matches between Qatar 2022 and the 2026 edition, and he won the Euro 2024 Golden Boot along with five other players (UEFA decided to share the award without using assists as a tiebreaker).
So, he deserves to be trusted to participate in the upcoming victory against Tunisia. The Netherlands needs to win convincingly to remain ahead of Japan and secure first place in Group F.
However, just a goal pays -105, so by adding another shot on target, you can get +164 with this Gakpo parlay.
Sweden vs Japan Prop Picks
If the matchup is tied in the final 20-25 minutes, Japan might be content to play to a draw, as that would qualify them to the next round. For Sweden, that would be a harder pill to swallow since they could advance as one of the third-best teams, but would eventually face tougher opposition.
Sweden had 13 shots against Tunisia and 21 vs. the Netherlands, despite losing 5-1. Their needs are bigger than Japan's, so they will have to try early and often in this matchup, and this number pays very well.
USA vs Turkiye Prop Picks
With Turkiye eliminated and the United States qualified, this is a matter of pride for both: one talented team that doesn't want to leave embarrassed and a host that can rotate its lineup, but can't afford to throw away a game in front of its fans.
This should be a really fun match with plenty of chances to score. Turkiye has the offensive firepower, but has struggled to convert in its two previous contests: 61 shots, just 13 on target, and no goals. This should be a proper goodbye for them, helping us hit this SGP.
Australia vs Paraguay Prop Picks
These two teams are a match for a really gritty, low-scoring game. However, a draw will benefit Australia, confirming them in second place, so it's on Paraguay to show more ambition and try harder.
Fortunately, they have the talent to do so, but will they have the accuracy? With Julio Enciso leading the way, at least Patrick Beach should have some work to do below the crossbar.
