Here are my NHL Anytime Goalscorers for Wednesday, February 14 – my expert predictions and picks for players to score tonight.

With an abbreviated slate, hockey fans are treated to just three NHL games tonight.

However, for my NHL anytime goalscorer picks, I'm targeting two games in particular:

Betting on NHL anytime goalscorers is simple enough: If your player scores a goal at any point in the game, your bet is a winner. MLB has its dingers; the NHL has its anytime goalscorers. And with both types of player props, the bets usually come with plus-money odds attached to them, so they're a favorite among all types of sports bettors.

Check out all of the analysis with my favorite anytime goalscorer predictions for tonight's NHL games below.

One of Wednesday's early-window NHL games features a Western Conference tilt between the Winnipeg Jets and San Jose Sharks. I am looking to buy low on Winnipeg forward Cole Perfetti, who has failed to score in each of his past 10 games.

Despite the recent slump, Perfetti still ranks fourth on the team in goals and second in power-play goals (first if you exclude the recently acquired Sean Monahan, whose power-play goals came in Montreal). If there were ever a get-right game, it would be against San Jose.

There is no sugarcoating it: The Sharks are terrible. This season, they rank last in goals allowed per game and shots on goal allowed per game.

Their underlying metrics are not any better, also ranking last in expected goals against per 60 minutes (xGA/60) at 5-on-5. Not only does this team bleed high-danger scoring chances at even strength, but they also rank 20th in penalty minutes taken per game and 31st in penalty kill percentage, which bodes well for Perfetti.

Backing up this defensively poor team is goaltender Kaapo Kahkonen, who has been dealt a bad hand this season. With that said, he still has not been anything spectacular, either, as he is 6-14-2 with a .901 SV% and 3.55 GAA.

Pick: (WPG) Cole Perfetti anytime goalscorer (+270)

Wild vs. Coyotes

Following that game, Wednesday's nightcap features a Central Division battle with the Arizona Coyotes hosting the Minnesota Wild. Minnesota has been disappointing this year, particularly due to poor defensive play and goaltending.

Filip Gustavsson is expected to guard the cage for the Wild on Wednesday and could be a good fade candidate. Through 31 appearances in the crease this season, Gustavsson possesses a .897 SV% and 3.19 GAA.

He's now allowed three or more goals in 11 of his past 13 starts, posting a .882 SV% and 3.71 GAA over that stretch. These woes are likely to continue against Arizona, a team he just can't seem to figure out.

Through three career starts against the Yotes, Gustavsson is 0-2-1 with a fade-worthy .745 SV% and 5.60 GAA.

That brings us to Clayton Keller, who scored four goals over those three games.

Not only has he had a knack for beating Gustavsson, but Keller is in particularly good form with eight goals over his past 13 games. Two of those eight goals came against Minnesota and Gustavsson on Jan. 13.

Finally, Keller is second on Arizona in power-play goals, which is worth noting since the Wild rank 28th or lower in both penalty minutes taken per game and penalty kill percentage.

Pick: (ARI) Clayton Keller anytime goalscorer (+180)
